The train leg to Leitrim

An OC Transpo bus station with a Park & Ride, Leitrim Station is the point where O-Train Line 2 connects with the resort shuttle. Take the train in, get off onto the platform, and the shuttle stop is the next step of the night.

This guide does not reprint OC Transpo or O-Train timetables. OC Transpo publishes its own at octranspo.com, and those are the times to check for the train leg. No OC Transpo bus route stopping at the resort is published, so the shuttle is the link between the station and Albion Road.

How the pairs run

The Leitrim timetable comes in pairs. A run leaves the resort on the hour, and its partner leaves Leitrim Station on the half hour. The day opens with the 7:00 AM departure from the resort. The first run you can catch off the train leaves Leitrim at 7:30 AM.

Most hours follow the same shape: 2:00 PM from the resort, 2:30 PM from Leitrim, then 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM. Every departure sits in the table. At the end of the evening, the last run leaves the resort at 12:00 midnight. Its partner, the last one from Leitrim, goes at 12:30 AM.

Three hours with no shuttle

Three hours of the day have no shuttle at all: 11:00 to 11:59 AM, 5:00 to 5:59 PM and 10:00 to 10:59 PM. Nothing leaves either end during those hours.

In practice, each gap has a last run before it. From Leitrim, the 10:30 AM run is the last before the midday gap. The 4:30 PM run comes before the evening gap, and the 9:30 PM run before the late one. Miss one of those, and the next run from Leitrim is at 12:30 PM, 6:30 PM or 11:30 PM. Plan the train leg around them, using OC Transpo's own times for the O-Train.

Paying the driver

Unity by Hard Rock members pay less for a ride, and joining Unity costs nothing, which adds up if you ride both ways. The resort's shuttle page lists the current fares. The driver takes card, credit or tap only, and cash is not accepted, not even exact change. Out at the stop after dark, have the card in hand before the shuttle arrives. It saves a fumble at the door.

When the times change

The resort says shuttle times can change without notice. It asks riders to look at the current schedule on its shuttle page before a trip. That page carries one set of times, with no separate weekday or weekend columns. For a check before you leave, call the resort at 1-613-822-8668. What time is the first morning run from Leitrim Station?

The first shuttle from Leitrim Station leaves at 7:30 AM. It pairs with the 7:00 AM departure from the resort, the first run of the day. Before that, nothing runs after the 3:30 AM departure from Uplands Station.

When does the final evening run leave for Leitrim?

The last run from the resort to Leitrim Station leaves at 12:00 midnight. After that the stop changes, and runs to Uplands Station leave the resort at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 AM.

Can I pay the driver in bills?

Cash is not taken on the shuttle: the driver accepts card, credit or tap only. A Unity by Hard Rock card lowers the fare, and the current amounts are on the resort's shuttle page.
